Family Vision and Eye Health Care

We see patients of all ages, from 6-12 months to over 90 years old. Routine eye examinations are important for detecting changes in vision, vision loss and preventative care for ocular diseases. A child's vision is especially important for detecting vision or binocular problems early on. An early diagnosis leads to more accurate treatment. It is especially important that children have their eyes examined before starting school as most early education is a visual experience.

Comprehensive Eye Examinations

A comprehensive examination includes a detailed history of the general medical and ocular health of you and family. We test your eyes for both close-up and distance vision problems. We also evaluate your eye health for ocular problems such as, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and other abnormal ocular pathologies. More tests may be recommended and performed when needed. We also prescribe a variety of Ocular Therapies, which include prescription vision correcting lenses, sunglasses, contacts, ocular medications, vision therapy,and surgery.

Contact Lenses

Contact lenses can be prescribed for medical or cosmetic uses.If you are looking for a more convenient way to see better, or you are looking for a new eye color, we have the right pair for you. Whether you are new to contacts or are trying a new pair, we will get you fitted and trained in wearing and caring for your contact lenses. Medically necessary contacts should be covered by your insurance, and cosmetic contacts usually have some out of pocket expense. We carry the latest designs and have an extensive library of contact lenses. We can find the right pair for you!

Optical Dispensary

Our Optical Dispensary has many choices of frames and lenses. We have many brands represented in our inventory and on display. We also carry a selection of sun glass frames, sports frames and specialty frames. Some of our more popular brands include Ray Ban™, Juicy Couture™ and Saks Fifth Avenue™. We also carry specialty lenses, including Transitions™, polarized sun lenses, no line bifocals (progressive lenses), and computer-use lenses. If you are looking for a specific frame, we'll order it for you.

Medical Therapy

We diagnose and treat many eye health problems that can require ocular medications. These include glaucoma, eye infections, and injuries. We also perform post-operative care for cataract removal, LASIK and macular degeneration. If we think you need eye surgery or special therapy, we will recommend a specialty doctor with proven skills. We only recommend specialty doctors with patient outcomes we have seen in our office.
